Fairyship Games has just unveiled Testament: The Order of High Human, a Metroivania sprinkled with action, adventure and role-playing elements, all in first person view.
A first-person Metroidvania
In Testament: The Order of High Human, the player travels through the fantasy world of Tessara. After the betrayal of Arva, the protagonist’s brother, madness has descended on the kingdom. Thus, as the immortal king of the “High Humans”, the player must undertake a mad journey through the lands of an ancient civilization in order to regain his lost power and face Arva.
The title offers to unlock various magic spells to trap, paralyze and burn enemies. Sword fighting is also part of the game, not to mention archery to defeat enemies from a distance.
The game is also composed of phases to give the player time to breathe, especially with puzzles, but also with the platform, all to compose the perfect formula for a Metroidvania.
