Android 14 will give Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet users one more reason to use a physical keyboard for improved productivity.
In addition to a new split-screen mode and drag-and-drop commands for quick file and text transfers between active apps, Android 14 also offers an impressive list of no less than 34 shortcuts to use in conjunction with the physical keyboard.
Intended for large-screen devices (eg tablets and flip phones), the new shortcuts are already listed in Android 14 Beta 2, with the full list appearing in the Settings -> System -> Keyboard -> Physical keyboard menu:

Counting 34 shortcuts for 29 separate functions, the new list is much more comprehensive than the 13 shortcuts supported on Android 13 devices. They also appear grouped under three tabs, System, Input and Open apps, with even a search function for users who want to find out the key combination for a specific command.
Another novelty is the possibility to customize the role of the Ctrl, Alt, Caps Lock or WinKey keys. For example, you can associate one of the keys with the Search function, if such a button is not already defined on the used keyboard.
