Xonia remained a fan of Survivor, after last year she was a competitor in the Celebrity Team. The star wants Carmen Grebenișan to emerge victorious from tomorrow’s final on Pro TV, at 9:30 p.m., as she is her favorite among the contestants remaining in the competition. In the exclusive interview given to Playtech News, Xonia talks about regrets after the PRO TV show, she was eliminated after the first week spent in the Dominican Republic. Diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Xonia also experienced a sun allergy, a side effect of an autoimmune disease medication she was taking.
Xonia is single and deals closely with her musical career, she returned to the country the other day for professional engagements, but also for the release of a song, with which she will begin her journey on various TV shows. On this occasion, Xonia confessed to us that she would smile at the idea of participating in America Express, but only in the company of her best friend or her brother.
Playtech News: How is your world, Xonia, at the moment?
Xonia: Pink, it’s good. We must be happy and make ourselves happy in life.
The last time we spoke you were alone. Are there changes on a personal level? Did anyone show up?
Not. (laugh). I wish it had changed, I was also saying novelty, but, unfortunately, no. From this point of view, I have no news. But musically I have, I just released a track with an Armenian artist, I collaborated with him and recorded the track in America, in LA, I also shot the video there, just the other day I released it, it’s called Halele, so go to youtube to see it.
Apart from music, what other projects do you have? Will we see you in a reality show?
I do not know. Effectively 4 days ago I landed. In one week I traveled from LA to Australia, Australia – Romania, Sibiu – Bucharest. I had a concert in Sibiu. I’m back in Bucharest and I’m working on my new album, I’m going to visit everyone to tell more stories.

The Survivor finale is coming up and you were a contestant last year, so I’m wondering who do you think has a better chance of winning the competition?
Sure, Carmen. She’s my favorite of the ones left and I keep my fingers crossed. I know her from social media, we don’t know each other personally, but I like her, I think she’s a top 10 girl.
After last year’s Survivor experience, are you still tempted to participate?
I really enjoyed Survivor, it was a unique experience. Honestly, I was so sorry I left first. It really hurt, because I worked super hard on it, but I guess it was all meant to be, because I also had a reaction to the sun from the medicine I was taking at the time. And I don’t think in the long run it would have been any good for me. Proof that I wasn’t well anyway and now I’m back on my feet. But another show I would do, but probably not Survivor.
Xonia has changed its treatment for autoimmune disease
How is your health? Are you still taking any treatment?
I am under treatment, another treatment now and so far so good.
Did you get an offer for America Express? Does it tempt you?
I haven’t received an offer yet, but I’m tempted to go with Alexandra, my best friend, or if I go with my brother. If it’s not one of the two options, don’t tempt me, because I wouldn’t be able to handle it. It’s clear!
