A woman died on Wednesday, after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment block in the municipality of Bistriţa. The rescue crews sent to the scene could not do anything to save her. The police announce that they have opened an investigation into this case, reports News.ro.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, and the policemen of the Bistrita Năsăud Criminal Investigation Bureau, notified through the emergency call number 112, found that a 59-year-old woman, from the municipality of Bistrita, fell from the fourth floor of an apartment block, dying .
The Bistrita County Police opened an investigation into the crime of manslaughter. The lifeless body of the woman was taken over by the Forensic Medicine Service for the necropsy.
Research continues in order to establish the exact circumstances in which the event took place, say the police.
