If Ubisoft generally reserves the luxury of presenting its games at its own events, Assassin’s Creed Mirage made a remarkable appearance during the PlayStation Showcase.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage reveals its gameplay
The next Assassin’s Creed has offered a rather wise gameplay trailer. As mentioned during its announcement, this episode aims to return to the roots for the franchise and the images unveiled of the game seem to go in this direction.
The action actually seems much more down to earth and the combat system similar to the first games of the license. We also find the parkour elements of the old games, and the title is generally reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed Origins.
As a reminder, the game takes place in the ninth century, 20 years before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, during the Golden Age of Baghdad. We play Basim Ibn Ishaq, a thief in search of justice spotted by a mysterious organization known as “The Unseen”.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is planned for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and will be released on October 12, 2023.
