For many years, perhaps even from the beginning of their work in television, Andreea Marin and Mihaela Rădulescu were considered rivals. For a good period of time, they avoided each other, but it happened that the profession also brought them face to face in various projects. The competition between the two stars was not, however, limited only to the career level.
Some voices say that the secret fight between Andreea Marin and Mihaela Rădulescu has its roots in the marriages they both had with the same man. The first one was married to Ștefan Bănică Junior from 2006 to 2013, the fruit of the couple’s love being a daughter, named Violeta. Mihaela Rădulescu was also married to the artist, but for a shorter period of time, from 1997 to 1999, without having children.
Returning to the activity on the small screens of the stars, it should be stated that Andreea Marin and Mihaela Rădulescu shared the same stage in 2014, when the first was part of the jury of the show “Dance among the stars”, and the second took the role of presenter of the television program.
In Romanian showbiz, the idea of rivalry between Andreea Marin and Mihaela Rădulescu is still topical. Few remember, however, the first picture in which the two stars were captured together. The material was made in the year 2000, when both ex-wives of Ștefan Bănică Junior were sending only laudatory words to each other.
“We are both temperamental and fighters”
In 2000, Andreea Marin and Mihaela Rădulescu posed together for the cover of Viva magazine. At that time, no conflict of any kind had arisen between the two big stars. Moreover, they both spoke very highly of each other.
“We are both temperamental and fighters,” Andreea Marin said in 2000, being complemented by Mihaela Rădulescu: “It’s hard to accept that a woman can be both beautiful and smart. And almost impossible to accept that they are two beautiful and smart girls. But this is no longer our problem!”.
It was one of the few times when the two celebrities expressed words of praise. Although they seemed to be very close, over the years their relationship cooled. Andreea Marin spoke, some time ago, about the rivalry between her and Mihaela Rădulescu, claiming that there is no real fight between them.
“It’s better to be a diplomat and keep quiet. I kept trying to get rid of this rivalry, but it kept holding on to me”, Andreea Marin said, some time ago.
