Another bear cub was fatally hit by a car in Covasna

A bear cub was fatally hit by a car in Covasna, being the third such incident this year in Covasna County, inform the representatives of the Covasna Environmental Guard.

The accident happened on Wednesday night, around 00:30.

The police from Covasna received a phone call informing them that on DN 13E km 37+200m, there is the body of a bear cub.

Representatives of the Covasna Environmental Guard, APM Covasna, IPJ Covasna and the veterinarian went to the scene. They found that the bear cub died after being hit by a car.

A similar incident happened just two days ago on DN 13E, in the Câmpul Frumos area. The bodies of the bears were taken to be cremated at an authorized facility.
