On Thursday morning, there were searches in two erotic massage salons in Arad county. Behind the walls, the law enforcement officers discovered a real brothel, Special Arad writes. The 11 employees were, in reality, practicing prostitution and, in addition, investigators say, they were also selling drugs to customers. In total, 21 people will be taken to hearings.
Targeted by the prosecutors’ investigation are two organized groups, specialized in pimping and carrying out illegal operations with substances likely to have a psychoactive effect. They were acting, say the prosecutors, since the summer of 2021, in the western area of Romania.
“Under the cover of four commercial companies, two organized criminal groups were formed, specialized in committing the crimes of pimping, in the variants of facilitating the practice of prostitution and obtaining material benefits from the practice of prostitution by a number of 11 female persons”, it is stated in the DIICOT press release.
According to the journalists from Special Arad, everything took place in two erotic massage parlors in Arad and Vladimirescu commune, where the 11 women were employed. In addition to sex parties, customers were also lured with drugs for a fee.
In total, the law enforcement officers made 13 home searches on Thursday, both in Arad county and in Timiș. 21 people will be taken to hearings at the DIICOT Timișoara headquarters, in this case.
