PRO TV star kicked out after refusing to hand out flyers on the beach
Today, he is one of the most well-known and appreciated actors from our country, working at the Comedy Theater in Bucharest, but few remember that he collaborated, for a while, with the Pache Protopescu station.
Invited to the podcast hosted by Adrian Artene, Alexandru Conovaru made unexpected revelations about the time he worked at PRO TV.
Conovaru was a producer on one of the shows presented by Andrei Gheorghe – “The Chain of Weaknesses”.
“He was very tough, but he was a kid. He was a playful child, downright childish. Sometimes it was hard for him to be bad. He was also snorting with laughter. But he liked him, he was a man of vast culture. And he had a rich vocabulary, you didn’t catch him off guard. After that I also became a director through PRO, only I wanted to act. And it started, I argued with people there, I only did stupid things until they kicked me out”, said Conovaru, according to cancan.ro.
“I had a fight with the world over there”
At one point, the artist was asked to hand out leaflets on the beach, as part of some television shows. The actor vehemently refused to do such a thing, so he stopped working with the television.
“I also became a director through PRO, only I wanted to act. I argued with people there, I mean, I only did stupid things, until they kicked me out. No Mona, no. In fact, they didn’t even fire me.
They told me: “go home.” I was at the sea, I was doing shows there and I had to go hand out flyers on the beach. That’s all I didn’t want, I wanted to play, to appear there”, said Alexandru Conovaru, in Adrian Artene’s podcast,
