On Wednesday evening, May 24, PRO TV viewers were able to witness truly special moments at Survivor Romania 2023, where the public voted for the contestant to win the grand prize worth 100,000 euros. After the votes, the presenter of the show filmed in the Dominican Republic, Daniel Pavel, announced the winner: Dan Ursa.
With tears in his eyes, the competitor confessed that he did not expect such a result for a second. Visibly emotional, Dan Ursa stated that he is proud of him, but also of all his supporters, who were with him wholeheartedly in the fierce competition in the jungle. The name of the winner of Survivor Romania 2023 is currently on everyone’s lips.
In the Thursday, May 25, edition of the show she presents on Pro TV, Cătălin Măruță had several special guests on the television set, where Survivor Romania was also discussed. As always, the camps were divided. Some of the Romanians supported Dan Ursa to the end, while others would have liked his rival to go home with the trophy.
Alex Delea, former winner of the reality show filmed in the Dominican Republic, was one of the guest stars in the show “La Măruță”, from Pro TV. The former competitor spoke openly about how the events at Survivor Romania evolved this year and also expressed his opinion about Dan Ursa.
“You would have been the last thing the world would have thought of”
Alex Delea confessed that he was impressed by the attitude of the Romanians who found out that Dan Ursa won the Survivor Romania 2023 show. The former winner specified, in a joking spirit, that in his case no one went out into the streets, as happened this year in Satu Mare, but everyone entered the house to greet him.
“Seeing these images, I remember how I went to Dan (Ursa – no) and said: You see that all of Romania loves you. Everyone. If I had told him that, at an episode like this, everyone took to the streets, would he have believed me? No!”, said Alex Delea on Cătălin Măruță’s show.
In other news, the former Pro TV winner confessed that for him, Dan Ursa was the winner from the start. No one would have expected this, especially due to the fact that, compared to his colleagues, the competitor presented a few extra kilograms. But it seems that this was also his charm.
“For me, he won from the start. (…) Because it came in rounder. I told him: You see it’s going to be a very big surprise because you would have been the last person the world would have thought would win. Why? Because you are fatter, but in a few weeks you lose kilos”, said Alex Delea.
