Irina Fodor went with the production team from America Express on a new adventure across the ocean, where the new season of the reality show will be filmed. Having just landed in Colombia, however, the TV presenter went through some nightmare moments. Here’s how the star was greeted.
Irina Fodor, serious scare upon landing in Colombia
The time has come for the America Express team to reunite to start filming a new season on fire. So the production team left for Colombia, where the nine teams of competitors will start the first leg of the Road to the Sun.
On Tuesday, May 22, Irina Fodor, together with the whole team, went far away from home again, to South America, where she will spend the next two months.
But after an extremely long flight, it did not have a very pleasant reception. A few hours ago, Răzvan Fodor’s wife posted a worrying message online, through which she revealed to her fans what happened.
“That wasn’t very nice of him”
Bruneta said a magnitude 6.6 earthquake occurred near the border between Panama and Colombia, the area she was in at the time.
“Such a welcome? What can I say… that wasn’t very nice of him. Sleep now, if you can!”, wrote the star on Instagram.
Fortunately, no damage was reported in Panama or in the area where the production crew arrived. Furthermore, there is no danger of a tsunami, and everyone is out of harm’s way.

What impact did the earthquake have on the area?
The 6.6-magnitude earthquake was felt in Panama and Colombia, Reuters writes. After 9 minutes there was an aftershock, in the same areas, with a magnitude of 4.9. Both tectonic movements occurred at a depth of 10 km.
Panama’s Civil Protection Agency said no damage was reported, but the situation is being monitored continuously. Local officials in Medellin, Colombia, relayed the same.
At the same time, no tsunami warning was issued following the earthquakes.
