Despite these events, the follow-up to Age of Empires IV continues according to the original plan and the team promises to deliver everything announced.
No impact on follow-up and future seasons of Age of Empires
The announcement of layoffs at Relic has raised concerns about the potential impact on the development and follow-up of Age of Empires IV, of which Relic is one of the collaborating studios. However, the Age of Empires team was quick to respond to confirm that the game will continue to be developed as planned, reassuring fans who are eagerly awaiting this new iteration of the beloved franchise. “Following the unfortunate news from Relic, we would like to confirm that development of Age of Empires IV will continue as planned. We will deliver everything we announced. »
