Meteorologists have issued a yellow code of showers, thunderstorms and hail for almost the entire country. The weather warning will be in effect until Friday evening at 11 p.m.
The yellow code comes into effect at 12:00, with meteorologists announcing increased instability.
Until 23.00 local time there will be periods of increased atmospheric instability which will be manifested by frequent electrical discharges, torrential showers, short-term intensification of the wind, gales and hail in Oltenia, Muntenia, Dobrogea, Banat, Transylvania, southern Crișana, as well as In the mountains.
In short intervals of time or through accumulation, the water quantities will be 20…25 l/m2 and isolated over 30…40 l/m2. Such phenomena will also be isolated in the other regions, according to ANM.
