Hai Hui in Timp will amaze you with a cohesive, warm and very well-crafted story, both from the point of view of the script and from the point of view of staging.
If you mute it, you could swear that this is not, at all, a Romanian film, but one made, perhaps, in Hollywood? Ok, maybe that was an exaggeration, but harmless and meant to prove to you that this is a good movie that deserves your attention.
In Hai Hui in Timp you can see Bebe Cotimanis playing the role of the “bad wolf”. Cotimanis is Domenul Detescu, a tycoon who takes control of all the technology in a small town, trying, with its help, to keep the parents at work as long as possible.
Detescu hates children and secretly plans to become the master of the world. He also comes to his aid, including his humble servant, Costel (character played by Gabriel Spahiu).
Unfortunately for him, a gang of children consisting of Mihai, Ioana, Maria come to his rescue and thwart his diabolical plans.
It can safely be said that this is by far the best children’s movie since Veronica.
It has magic, it has childish humor and, above all, it has Bebe Cotimanis, who, as far as can be seen, was born to play negative roles, but not without charm.
