The Road Brigade announces for Tuesday, due to the teachers’ rally, traffic restrictions on the main boulevards of the Capital. More than 20,000 employees from Education will meet in Piața Victoriei, after which they will march towards the Cotroceni Palace, where they will shout their demands.
The negotiations between the teachers and the Government have reached an impasse. The general strike in education has reached its fifth day, and protests continue, with teachers dissatisfied with low wages.

The schedule of the rally announced by the Road Brigade:
– 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., gathering of participants in Piața Victoriei, respectively Șos. Kiseleff, the segment between Str. Arch. Ion Mincu and Victoriei Square
– 12:00 – 13:00, public meeting in Piața Victoriei, the perimeter between the extension of Bd. Aviatorilor, Kiseleff Park, Calea Victoriei, the extension of Bd. Iancu de Hunedoara
– 13:00 – 15:00, movement of the participants along the route Piața Victoriei – Str. Buzești – Str. Berzei – Str. Știrbei Vodă – Spl. Independence – Grozăvești Bridge – left Road. Grozăvești – Bd. Geniului the direction of travel from Bd. Iuliu Maniu to Piața Răzoare – end point Statue of the Lion
– 15:00 – 15:30, public meeting on Bd. Geniului in the vicinity of the Lion Statue.
– 15:30 – 16:00, total discharge of the participants.
Thus, starting at 10:00, road traffic will be “resystematized” in Piața Victoriei, ensuring 2 lanes in each direction in front of the Government, on Bd. Aviatorilor driving only to Bd. Lascăr Catargiu and traffic will be gradually restricted for parking buses on the road. Kiseleff, lanes I, III and IV, on the segment between Str. Arch. Ion Mincu and Piața Victoriei, without affecting the intersections.
Traffic lane II on the section above will be reserved for emergency vehicles.
“After disembarking the participants, under the guidance of the traffic police, the coaches will be directed to be parked on the Independence Splai, the segment between Grozăvești Bridge and Cotroceni Bridge, the direction towards the Bridge. Cotroceni, traffic lanes I and II. Depending on the number of participants, the Road Brigade will adopt measures to restrict road traffic dynamically so that the fluency and safety of road traffic participants is not affected”, informed the Road Brigade.
Several demonstrations took place in other cities of the country as well. People are dissatisfied with the offers that the members of the Government have so far presented to them and say that they want concrete salary increases, and not vouchers or cards, which they have been promised so far. ,
