After revealing itself in an epic gameplay video, Battlefield 2042 Season 5 is taking advantage of new airtime to detail everything it has to offer starting next week.

Highly anticipated by players, the squad management system will finally sign its arrival in Battlefield 2042. Thanks to a specific interface, it will now be possible to join other squads, or to create one and appoint a leader.
In addition, the developers are obviously emphasizing the new map, Regeneration, embarking on the conflict in Czechia with no less than six game spaces to dominate. This new battlefield promises variety in the clashes that will take place there.
DICE also reviews new gear, namely the XCE BAR, GEW-46 from Battlefield 4, BFP.50, Bounce Grenade, Anti-Tank Grenade, and Mini Grenades. New chest weapons will also be available at the start of the season, including the M16A3, ACW-R, A-91, M416, MTAR-21 and AEK-971. The weapons in the chest can also accommodate the accessories of 2042, but also skins!
The video also allows you to admire a variety of skins that will be up for grabs via the free battle pass and the premium.
Finally, we can appreciate images of the total overhaul of Hourglass, the very last original card having not yet been reworked. The studio highlights the changes made through a before/after comparison, for a very convincing result.
Just like the previous seasons, New Dawn will be entitled to its mid-season event, in addition to the various “quality of life” updates. In particular, vehicles will be updated to improve their roles with new equipment.
