Adela Popescu and Radu Vâlcan form one of the most beloved couples in domestic showbiz. The two have three boys together and have managed to keep harmony as a couple, brilliantly overcoming crisis situations that have arisen over time. In the exclusive interview given to Playtech News, the TV presenter talked to us about the evolution of her clothing style, how she came to relax in terms of the photos she publishes on social networks, but also how she and your husband managed to remain a team.
The age difference is not a handicap for the two
There is a 9-year age difference between Adela Popescu and Radu Vâlcan, he being theoretically the mature one in the relationship, and, according to Adela, he is even more choleric.

You have changed your clothing style.
I haven’t changed my wardrobe completely, I’ve always been in this mode, relaxing. I know that my asset is not being a sexy woman, that is, I know my limits and qualities.
And then I realized that I have a good mood if I feel good, and then I can be jovial and talk about many things in a relaxed and honest way. If I were corseted, stressed that it was tightening, I would no longer have this state of mind, and what would be the point?
You said that for a long time the flirtations with Radu started from the pictures. When did this relaxation occur and you stopped blaming him for not getting the right angle?
All things come naturally. There is simply no time for anything, as of now: that’s it, I don’t believe in them! When we were too tired to sit and chat during vacations, that is, for example, even Adelina and I were talking: “How did you leave with 3 suitcases?”
We are leaving for two and a half months in the Dominican Republic. “Even if I’m going away for 3 days, I’ll take a suitcase”, because she really enjoys making outfits and it’s absolutely normal.
I long for this thing too, except I don’t really have the time. And then I quickly put something on and sometimes I dress so ugly that I don’t even want anyone to see me, but to take pictures and post them? So that’s where relaxation came in. (laugh)

What were the ingredients that kept this relationship going? You and Radu always managed to save each other in moments of crisis, whether it was about children or professional projects.
We lack many things, but we do not lack the essentials. We both want the same thing, I mean we had the same target, which doesn’t mean we want to build our house I don’t know where or we want to change our car, not that!
For us family is the most important thing and when you have this goal in mind constantly, you know that you sacrifice everything for it. And the choices we made to have a more balanced family turned out to be good and constructive choices for us.
Arguments are not the same anymore when you somehow think about the economy of your life and your child, how maybe it is not good to attend certain discussions and then you say: leave me alone, why should we argue and so on. I mean, for us, this common goal saved us.

Did it matter that Radu is a few years older than you?
Know that he doesn’t feel it. (laughs) He has a lot of experience indeed, but of the two of us he’s more choleric. I mean, I’m the one who stops it as it comes.
