The transition from spring to summer brought heavy rains to the western half of the country. More than 50 houses were affected by the floods in Aninoasa, in Gorj. And meteorologists announce new precipitation.

Andreea – mother of the children: It was water up to here. If our godfather didn’t come to take our children, I don’t know what we would do. We didn’t even know how to get through here beyond the waters. I also bought new birds, I bought new animals, everything. We had made plans to go out with the children to the park, somewhere so they could have fun and make them have a nice day on Children’s Day.
The two young men now try to save what can be saved.
Andreea – mother of the children: We have to start all over again. Now, the only day we can have on Children’s Day is to tidy up so we can get back to how we were and how we were. For them, this yard was like a playground, we had plans to take them and make them a swing, a slide, make them their own playground.
The flood took everyone by surprise, especially since the river had not burst its banks for decades.
