Andrei Lăcătuș aka Shurubel from “Vorbește lumea” has the good fortune of working for many years with Bogdan Ciudoiu, with whom he also teamed up on the radio, not only currently in the show on Pro TV, where the merry gang is completed by Lili Sandu . Shurubel found his half and since 2019, he and Iulia are husband and wife. Andrei has no plans to expand his family yet, but he is also open to the challenge of being a father. When the show “Vorbește lumea” will go on vacation, his colleague Lili Sandu and his life partner have made their plan to relax in Mauritius.
Playtech News: What was your childhood like? Did you grow up in the city or with your grandparents in the country?
Shurubel: I grew up in the city, in the Crângași neighborhood of Bucharest, quite close to the Giulești stadium. The meaningful image is of me and the other kids from the block playing football on the street, where cars only passed once every 5-10 minutes. Today we wouldn’t even have room to pass the ball, because there are cars parked everywhere.
What tricks did you do as a child? Was it with punishments?
My favorite part was stealing food from the fridge to take to the street dogs on the block. If my folks weren’t paying attention… Whoop! The cheese was disappearing, the sausages were disappearing. They didn’t punish me, because they loved animals too.

What are your plans for growing your family? You or Iulia? Who wants to be a child anymore?
I want to be more childish, that’s clear, but when the universe wants it, welcome!
How did you perceive the celebrity you enjoy since you are a co-presenter on “Vorbeşte lumea”? What has changed in your life?
I don’t think much has changed. There are a few more people who recognize my face on the street, I think. Anyway, I’m factory friendly no matter who’s in front of me. So this can only make me happy.
Do you manage your social media accounts alone or does your wife get involved as well?
I take care of myself, she only criticizes when she doesn’t like a picture. He finished architecture. Therefore, the aesthetic sense from us in the family is clear in her.

How do you handle jealousy as a couple and which one of you is more volcanic?
We have no jealousy as a couple at all, and our secret is that we always know each other. We call each other, because as soon as we get a little free time we want to spend it or share it with each other.
Where will you go on holiday this summer? Do you prefer an active holiday with sights to see or do you feel the need to stay at the beach?
We’re going to a place where we have a beach and some tourist attractions, that is, the Mauritius Islands. I went to many places with Iulia and together we came to the conclusion that a maximum of one tourist attraction per day is a good plan. Otherwise, the beach.
What was the moment when you were convinced that Iulia was your half?
It was an idea that grew in my soul every day and solidified as we realized that the purpose of each in this relationship is to make the other happy and that we are a team in the face of all the trials that we are put through. life. You have a long-term friendship with Bogdan. Have there been, over time, more tense moments between you? How did you manage them?
The tension between me and Bogdan existed only at the beginning of our relationship and it was constructive and from a distance. In the first few years when we were colleagues in radio, I felt a kind of rivalry with him, and that pushed me to be even better every day, because he was getting better and better, so I wanted to keep up. By 2012, we realized that we could be even better if we worked together, and since then life has stubbornly stuck us together. And it does well!
Do you have a ritual before starting the PRO TV show?
Not a ritual, but I have many moments where I listen to music behind the cameras or on set with Lili and we dance extremely stupidly. Bogdan is not with us, not because he wouldn’t dance stupidly, but because he is on the radio in the morning and arrives at the set around 10 or so.

What was the hardest thing for you: waking up early or giving up going out in the evenings because you have a morning show to present?
Let’s not forget that I did morning radio for 5 years and I used to get up at 5 to start the show at 6:30. What we do now is nothing like a wake-up time. I think giving up late night outings came naturally to my life. I was a club DJ for 5 years and was wasting about 4 nights a week. I think at some point I agreed with my liver that I had had enough.
Finally, please tell me three things that are not known about you.
I don’t know how well it’s known that I get up early every day to meditate. It’s one thing that makes my whole day better. Then there would be the fact that I have a yellow belt in karate. It’s a weak, beginner’s belt and I got it in second grade, but hey, it’s a belt! And another unknown thing about me is the fact that I named my old car (it was born in 2011) Riri (even though I have a hard time pronouncing this name) and I love it very much.
