These days, King Charles is in Romania, this being his first visit to a foreign country since he was crowned. The sovereign will stay with us in the country for five days, and the visit will be private, according to the British ambassador. Every time he came to Romania, people wanted to meet him and talk to him. On the other hand, there are people who don’t love the new king of Great Britain that much.
The woman from Bucharest who sued King Charles
King Charles has been visiting our country for more than 20 years, and Romanians adore him! The heir to the throne of Great Britain owns several properties in Viscri, Mălâncrav and Valea Zălanului. When he spoke about Romania, King Charles said that he loves the natural landscapes here.
“I have been asked many times why I come so often to Romania, what makes it so special, so attractive? For me, the answer is clear: you, my Romanian friends – your natural and cultural landscape, your traditions, but also your capacity to innovate and change.
All that you represent after centuries of history – your identity and your full potential. All the energy you can put into motion to change something. These are the things that make you truly special in the whole world”said, a few years ago, the British monarch.
However, there are also Romanians who do not really approve of Charles. What’s more, one person even sued him. It is about Constanța Marta, a Bucharest woman from Sector 6 of the Capital, who sued King Charles in court in 2015. Before the magistrates, the woman requested a protection order against him.
Thus, the woman asked the judges that the British sovereign could not approach her. Unfortunately, the woman was unsuccessful and her unusual request was denied.

Another Romanian woman in London opened a lawsuit against the British royal house
She is not the only one who has had a problem with members of the British royal family. Another Romanian, Mihaela Popa, sued an audit firm working in London in 2006. She reasoned that she was sexually harassed by colleagues, and then she was fired, writes Cancan.ro.
As a result, she filed a lawsuit in the UK against the company, and later even against the Royal Crown. The woman was asking for 40 million pounds in compensation, but her request was rejected by the judges.
