Danube Rock Sounds returns with its 9th edition on Plaja Dunărea in Galați, between September 15 and 17, 2023 and promises, this time too, to bring the most famous and appreciated Romanian bands.

Subcarpathi, byron, Basska, Melting Dice and COMA are among the first bands confirmed as part of the line-up that will make Plaja Dunărea vibrate, the full concert program to be communicated in the coming months, according to the press release sent to the address the newsroom.
Codruț Dumitrescu, the organizer of the festival, said that “after seeing the reactions of the public from the last two editions, it was confirmed to us that Danube Rock Sounds is an important event for music lovers in this area.
We try to come with surprises every year, and for this edition we are preparing more stages and a more diverse line-up, but the goal of the festival remains the same: to promote rock and alternative music through concerts of the highest quality”.
In May, tickets to Danube Rock Sounds are priced at 160 lei (i.e. the equivalent of a general access subscription) or 400 lei (VIP), 60 lei (day ticket – general access) and 150 lei (day ticket – VIP) and are already available on iabilet.ro.
“Although it seems like autumn is still a long way off, we all know how quickly time flies and plans are already being made now. Mark September 15-17 in your calendar, to spend 3 memorable days on the Danube Beach in Galaţi at Danube Rock Sounds, the rock music festival and more”, Codruț Dumitrescu also said.
Danube Rock Sounds is the only rock and alternative music festival in Galaţi and aims to promote the local Romanian scene, but also to bring to the public artists that fans do not have the opportunity to see on a regular basis, the release states.
