What could have been a fake finally seems to be real. The Starfield controller spotted last April has just been spotted in a US supermarket, suggesting an announcement is imminent.
Xbox Starfield controller spotted again
The first photo of the controller was posted on a forum after it was first spotted on the Chinese sales site Xianyu. The original person claimed to be passionate about customizing controllers, but refused to confirm whether or not this controller was official or not.
After several appearances since, the Starfield controller was finally spotted today in a US Target supermarket, right next to the latest Xbox OPI controllers.

Starfield Controller Features
If the controller is confirmed by Microsoft in the coming days, here are its characteristics seen on the back of the box:
- Manette compatible Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC et mobile via bluetooth
- Interstellar handle inspired by the dashboard of a spaceship
- Transparent triggers with bronze-colored vibration motors inside
- Mention « FOR ALL, INTO THE STARFIELD » au dos du compartiment piles/batterie
A likely announcement at the Xbox conference this Sunday
It is most certainly during the Xbox Showcase that this controller will be unveiled, or at the latest during the Starfield Direct conference which will follow in stride.
We already know that both events will last about two hours and when we look at previous Xbox conferences from years past, we can quite easily guess that the show dedicated to Starfield will last between 20 and 30 minutes.
