Employees across the country are facing an acute cost of living crisis that is causing them to want higher wages from their employers.
Many employees in Romania are dissatisfied with the current salary conditions and would be willing to give up their current job on the spot, in favor of one for which they are paid better.
In the context of the inflation crisis and the increasingly stinging bank rates, employees can hardly cope with the daily financial challenges. In the face of the waves of price increases that have hit us recently, much more generous levies are needed.
Salaries no longer reach us from one month to the next. Employees are outraged
The specialized analyzes carried out on the labor market in our country indicate that we have many employees who are not satisfied with the money they receive. If they found another job with a better salary, people wouldn’t even look behind them.
For example, according to the data of the most recent survey conducted by Undelucram and Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services, over a quarter of Romanian employees (28%) would change their current job for another that offers an attractive salary and extra-salary benefits competitive.
The same analysis also reveals that almost half of the surveyed employees (48%) would not accept a lower salary for a job with a greater social impact.
Moreover, it seems that 77% of the employees who took part in this analysis also think about the impact they have from their roles in society.
In the same vein, it should also be noted that 43% believe that involvement in society is equivalent to the direct impact of the work they do. Finally, the survey also indicates, 43% of employees say that being involved in society means feeling that their work has a positive impact on the community they belong to.
