How Stephan Pelger was adopted: “I remember the day”
Stephan Pelger was found breathless on Thursday, June 8, in his workshop in Sector 2 in Bucharest. Those close to him were shocked by the tragedy, according to confessions made in the public space, as well as fans of the fashion designer’s unique creations. Many do not understand why the late star chose to end her days.
The fashion designer has had a sad life story, but one thing is certain: he did not lack love for a second from his adoptive parents. Stephan Pelger was adopted at 13 months old by a tall young woman with long blonde hair and green eyes named Ima, who was a violinist, and his life partner, who worked as a priest.
The late designer made incredible revelations about the timing of the adoption, about two years ago.
“There were, I think, about 11-12 children in one bed. My mother told me that I stretched out my hands, she told me that I was the ugliest there, but that gesture of stretching out my hands made her tremble, she got me out of there and that was it.
I don’t know if it’s a fantasy image or if it’s real, it’s certain that I remember the adoption day, December 13, 42 years ago. I remember the colors. Everything there was gray, black, white. I had a phobia of white, of everything that meant robes. I was starting to scream hysterically. Probably in my mind, those white robes meant evil and violence,” revealed the late fashion designer.
The strict education that Stephan Pelger received
Ten months ago, Stephan Pelger was invited to the EGO Life show, moderated by Dana Săvuica, where he talked about his childhood and the prohibitions imposed by his parents, which he absolutely had to respect. All of this set him up for life, with the late fashion designer speaking only highly of his family.
He considered his adoptive mother a real angel, being the embodiment of tenderness. He respected his father deeply, despite the fact that he sometimes seemed to be severe. The man talked to his adopted son like an adult, he didn’t show his emotional side, he didn’t hold him in his arms or kiss him on the cheek. He was also a man who hated lying, according to Stephan Pelger.
From an early age, he was introduced to a whole different world, from clothes to flowers to moral values. Stephan Pelger revealed in the EGO Life show that he had a strict upbringing from his adoptive parents, which helped him understand what sophistication means.
Stephan Pelger’s adoptive parents devoted themselves entirely to their son’s education, which is one of the reasons why he managed to make it in life. In the EGO Life show, the late fashion designer confessed that until the age of 18, he had to follow a strict rule: he was not allowed to go out in front of his family in pajamas.
“I noticed in the family that we weren’t allowed to show up in our pajamas in the morning. This was the rule (with which I was raised – no) 18 years. When guests came… It was another century”, said Stephan Pelger.
The late fashion designer explained that it was his parents who taught him how to behave in society, including how to give priority to a woman when entering a room: “That’s what I saw in my father and mother.”
