Shunghla Mashwani, a 10-year-old girl from the United States of America was lost by her parents and had to stay alone for hours in the wilderness, the BBC reported.
It looked like it was going to be a Sunday spent in the bosom of the family, full of laughter and jokes, but it totally turned into a nightmare. The 10-year-old girl got lost in the middle of the night near Seattle, Washington while visiting her family in Cle Elum Valley.
Soon, Shunghla Mashwani’s parents noticed that their daughter was missing, and then, the whole family mobilized and followed the child’s footsteps.
As hope began to fade, the child was found the next day after a massive search and rescue effort by teams from across Washington state. The rescuers were shocked by the option that the little girl found so that she wouldn’t be cold at night. She slept between two trees to keep warm, the temperature being 3 degrees Celsius. The little girl was a hero and escaped with only a few scratches
