Lucian Bode will no longer be part of the Ciolacu Government because the PNL has decided to focus on the political activity of the party, said Nicolae Ciucă, the president of the PNL, on Wednesday, when asked why some ministers from his cabinet are no longer part of the future executive . President Klaus Iohannis drew attention in February that “there are problems” with Lucian Bode’s doctoral thesis and said that he was waiting for a decision from the party “until the government rotation at the latest”.
The former Minister of the Interior Lucian Bode, general secretary of the PNL, will take care of the political activity of the party and will be appointed vice-president of the Chamber of Deputies, announced Nicolae Ciucă on Wednesday, when asked if the lack of names from the Ciolacu Government means that they had poor results in the Government Chick.
“There were no bad results at all. When we talk about politics, we talk about results in governance, on the other hand, results in political activity. We made the decision to go with professionals in the government and on the other side to deal with everything that means political activity.
Now, at the level of the group of deputies, the decision was made that Mr. Secretary General (Lucian Bode – no) will occupy the position of vice-president of the Chamber of Deputies. As such, there is a balance between government activity and political activity at the PNL level,” Nicolae Ciucă said on Wednesday.
President Klaus Iohannis declared in February that “there are problems” with the doctoral thesis of Lucian Bode, Minister of the Interior at the time, saying that he hopes that by the time the PNL government rotates, he will make a “clear” decision.
“It’s true, there are problems there. These issues must be taken, in my opinion, very seriously. I trust that the PNL, as well as Mr. Bode personally, will analyze these issues and the political impact. I, personally, honestly, expect that a clear decision will be made in this regard by the government rotation at the latest”, declared President Klaus Iohannis.
