Meteorologists of the National Meteorological Administration have changed the forecast for the coming days. The weather is turning the page, so meteorologists warn that a cyclone is coming to Romania. Storms are forecast for Saint Mary, and the sea water will be cold.
ANM forecast August 14-21, 2023. What will the weather be like on Saint Mary’s Day
The director of the National Meteorological Administration, Elena Mateescu, announced what the weather will be like during the mini-vacation of Saint Maryaccording to the latest predictions.
If until now the forecasts showed beautiful weather for Saint Mary, now, the new predictions show something completely different.
Cold nights and mornings
Thus, meteorologists announce a new cooling of the weather in Romania. The director of ANM stated that the nights and mornings will be extremely cool in the coming days, and the temperatures will remain below the normal level of the characteristic period.
The hottest will be in Bucharest, where according to meteorologists, 29 degrees Celsius will be recorded.
“Generally beautiful weather, with cold nights and mornings. Tomorrow we will record minimum temperature values of only 6…8 degrees in the depressions in eastern Transylvania, 18…20 degrees on the coast and in the Delta area, while in the rest of the country, especially in the south, values close to 19…20 degrees.
At the level of maximum temperatures, if tomorrow we are talking about values between 23 and 31 degrees, the same will be of interest for the beginning of the following week when we are talking, especially on Monday and Tuesday, of slightly increasing temperatures, up to 32° Celsius .
Where it will be a maximum of 18 degrees Celsius
The ANM meteorologist specified that the mornings and nights will continue to be cool, also saying which are the areas where this will be felt the best.
“But, indeed, the nights and mornings still remain slightly cooler, this cooling will be most felt in the intra-Carpathian regions.
And at this time, we record a differentiation of what the colder temperature values mean in the northern central areas, at most 17…18 degrees, while in the extra-Carpathian regions, in the western extremity of the country or in the south, southeast and east, values that exceed 25 degrees on the threshold of a summer day, the warmest being in the capital, 29 degrees. So, generally nice and warm weather, but cold nights and mornings”, explained Elena Mateescu on Antena 3.
