Game news Starfield launches into live action for a magnificent discovery of the stars!
Trust us: you’re going to be hearing about Starfield in the near future and in fact, you may already be seeing it popping up everywhere. This is quite normal since the game has already been sent to the press and is about to be released: suddenly, Bethesda is doubling its efforts on communication.
The end of the hyperspace tunnel
The least we can say is that Starfield is a huge construction site: according to Bethesda, it is quite simply the biggest game in its historywhich is all the more ambitious as it is a new franchise, the firm having put aside the however successful IP The Elder Scrolls and Fallout to tackle this colossal project.
So after years of development, we can finally see the end of the tunnel: the title has already been sent to the press and a few privileged people, two good weeks before its release (which is a rather good sign). note that the game will be playable from September 1st for those who pre-ordered the Premium or Constellation edition ; for the rest of the world, it will be for September 6th. Provided you have a PC or an Xbox Series, Microsoft exclusivity requires.
Starfield makes its star (and it makes sense)
Last night in Cologne, Germany, was held Opening Night Live, the official opening ceremony of gamescom 2023. An event that is always awaited, especially since Geoff Keighley teased a lot of surprises there, a complete summary of which you will find here.
To get the ball rolling, it was Starfield that was chosen, first with the iconic composer Inon Zur came to play the theme of the game on the piano directly on the stage (see above). Then, the public could lick their chops on an exclusive live-action trailer, full of special effects, confirming Bethesda’s desire to go all out on the marketing campaign. This can be found in our video player at the start of the article.
