In the 11th edition of the Chefi la cuțite show from season 12, we met Ramona Iuliana Chelaru, the competitor who burst into tears when Florin Dumitrescu opened a painful topic for her.
The 28-year-old contestant is from Giroc and decided to come to Chefi la cucite season 12 to prove that she knows how to cook, even if she hasn’t always had this passion. But, during the discussion with Sorin Bontea, Florin Dumitrescu and Cătălin Scarlătescu, she burst into tears.

Ramona Iuliana Chelaru prepared a recipe for beef tenderloin with sauteed mushrooms and mashed potatoes with truffles to prove that she knows how to cook. When the dish was ready, the chefs did the tasting and then the doors opened, making their competition appear.
The jurors had a surprise when the lady brought them three personalized cakes with their figurines. After, the competitor began to tell about how her passion for cooking began. Then, Florin Dumitrescu asked her if she had children, and the lady revealed that it was a sensitive subject for her.
“I don’t have children, unfortunately I lost a pregnancy just last year. I say it will happen”, said the competitor, bursting into tears.
On the other side, realizing that he was wrong, Flroin Dumitrescu said: “I apologize for opening this topic, it was really an accident. I am sorry”.
Ramona Iuliana Chelaru told how she overcame the tragedy
Also, the concubine told in front of everyone how she managed to overcome the tragedy in her life.
“The fact that I cooked a lot during that time and that I had a lot of orders helped me a lot to get through. It’s very difficult, when you want it from the bottom of your heart… We hope that the good Lord will let it be good, that it will happen this year”, said Ramona Iuliana Chelaru at the testimonial.
