The first eSports club in Europe to have its own arena
During the KCX3, the annual Karmine Corp event where the structure presents matches and celebrates its players and fans, organized at the Paris La Défense Arena, the team made a resounding announcement that shook the world of eSports. The Karmine Corp, already recognized as the most popular eSports club in Franceannounced that she will become the only resident club of the Arènes d’Evry-Courcouronnesin Essonne, from mid-2024. This bold decision places her at the front of the line as first European eSports team to settle permanently in a venue of this scale. After filling the Accor Arena in Bercy, then this time the 30,000 seats of La Défense Arena, this new announcement is even stronger, since the KCorp will be the only sports structure to operate this enclosure, all year round. This arena of 3000 places, currently under renovation, will become the home of Karmine Corp, a rarity in eSports. She will welcome meetings of the different KCorp teams on League of Legends, Valorant (men’s team and women’s team), Rocket League, TrackMania, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Teamfight Tactics.

This announcement marks a major turning point in French eSports, making it possible to generate stable income for the club and offer a place of passion for its “ultras”. The general director of Karmine Corp, Arthur Perticoz, emphasizes that this initiative brings them closer to the traditional sports modelwhere clubs play at home in dedicated enclosures, and thus obtain revenues that currently escape eSports structures who often play their dates online. The club signed a long-term lease with the Arènes de l’Agora, demonstrating Essonne’s commitment to this new era of eSports. This innovative approach proves that French eSports are constantly expanding and that it attracts more and more fans and investors. Ultimately, the enclosure should even allow KCorp to organize up to 25 events per year.
