Game news Mortal Kombat 1: Players violently mock the Nintendo Switch port which is compared to an old generation game
Do you know what’s worse than Fatality? The Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1!
MK1 lives up to expectations, but not on all platforms
Today is the release of Mortal Kombat 1, the sequel to Mortal Kombat 11 and at the same time the reboot of the saga. This new baby from NetherRealm is already receiving almost unanimous approval from the press and players. It must be said that the game is more than generous in terms of content and above all always gorier.
However, if the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions seem to live up to expectations, displaying next-gen graphics as expected, it seems that the Nintendo Switch version is in a more than disastrous state.
A deplorable Switch version
In recent days, several images of the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1, and what we can say is that these images are not at all worthy of the Nintendo console.
As you can see by looking at the images above, there is simply a world of difference between the two versions. Li Mei literally pales in appearance on the Nintendo Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1 (image on the right). She has no eyelashes, her face is featureless and even the color of her hair does not match what can be found on the PlayStation 5 version of the game.
A particularly astonishing result, especially when we look at the Nintendo Switch version of Mortal Kombat 11 which is simply exemplary.
As you can see, if Mortal Kombat 1 interests you, it’s better to turn to the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game.
