Having made an impression when it was released in 2018, many console players hope to one day be able to enjoy Red Dead Redemption 2 in excellent conditions on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. A new version of Red Dead Redemption 2 was planned
It was through an exchange of emails between Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, and Sarah Bond, vice-president of Xbox, that a table mentioning Red Dead Remption 2 was shared. This exchange dated May 16, 2022 indicates that a release of the game for the ninth generation of consoles was planned for the second quarter of fiscal year 2023, i.e. the end of 2022. We can also discover that Microsoft would have liked to integrate it into the Xbox Game Pass and expected to pay $5 million per month.
