Police officers from the Slovak town of Senica who were monitoring road traffic in the Trnava region witnessed an unbelievable moment: a car that had exceeded the legal speed had a dog at the wheel.
The incident took place at the end of last week, in the village of Šterusy. The police radar camera captured the animal sitting in front of the driver, in a Skoda, while the car was traveling at 61 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

The patrol stopped the car, and the 31-year-old man in the car said that the animal suddenly jumped into his arms and then he was caught by the radar. However, the police footage did not record any sudden movement in the car.
The Slovak police also posted on Facebook the images captured by the radar cameras, and in the images you can see the dog next to the driver’s seat.
The driver was fined by the police. Transporting an animal must only be done using protective systems, as it can endanger the life of the driver and other occupants of the car.
