President Klaus Iohannis, who visited Uthiru Girls’ School with his wife, spoke to the students about what it means to be president, saying the beautiful part is that it is a great privilege to hold this position and to be a kind of supervisor of democratic institutions, however, on a personal level, his and his wife’s life changed, and their free time together decreased. “We are both teachers, teachers don’t have that much free time,” Klaus Iohannis told the students.
“It is a great privilege to be president and to be a kind of supervisor of democratic institutions. This is the beautiful part. The other part is that our whole life has completely changed because our free time together has diminished. We are both teachers, teachers don’t have that much free time. Sometimes it’s strange for us that everywhere we go we are accompanied by so many people for security reasons and this is complicated for someone who was used to having a normal life”, said the president in front of the students, according to the images broadcast by TVR, writes News.ro.
