The Minister of the Environment, Mircea Fechet, announced on Monday, in a press conference held after a meeting of the PNL leadership, that a new session of the “Photovoltaic Green House” program, through which the potential installers will be validated, will be opened on Wednesday, from at 10.00. Fechet states that the company that sued the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM) promised to drop the lawsuit if it is validated as an authorized installer.
“I want to announce that we have reached an agreement between the parties, in the sense that on Wednesday, this week, at 10:00 a.m., we will open a new session through which we will validate the potential installers. Of course, installers who did not try to register the first time can also register, as well as installers who have been rejected, as is the case with this company. I received a promise from the company that, to the extent that a new session will be opened and to the extent that it will be validated as an authorized installer by the Ministry of the Environment, it will waive the process we have, make a waiver request at the trial, from which point we can hope that the wait for the 90,000 families will be much shorter”, explained Mircea Fechet, according to News.ro.
He also said that “there are 90,000 beneficiaries, 90,000 families waiting for the “Green Photovoltaic House” Program, today blocked by the decision of a court, namely the Oradea Court of Appeal, which suspended this program a few weeks ago”.
“I would like to bring to the attention of public opinion the fact that, a few days ago, I invited the representatives of the company that sued AFM to the headquarters of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests. I also invited the representatives of the Environmental Fund Administration, trying to find a possibility of mediating this conflict between a private individual and the Romanian state, understanding that the court terms could far exceed the period we estimate and with the hope that we manage to unblock this situation”, added Fechet.
