Where is the only fair in a mountain area
Most of the Christmas markets in Romania are organized in the big cities of the country. Few compatriots know about the existence of such a fair even in a mountain area, where the local authorities did not have to make great efforts to imitate a gorgeous natural landscape.
The only Christmas market in Romania organized in a mountain area is located in Borca commune in Neamț county. It is not yet open to visitors. Its administrators have announced that they will open the gates to locals in about a week, according to a message posted on Facebook.
The children who get involved in the organization of the fair
A special detail at the Christmas fair in Borca is the fact that students from the 10th grade, from the Economic profile, of Mihail Sadoveanu High School also participated in its organization. The winter-themed event is put together especially for children and young people, but not only.
“We are fast approaching. The 10th grade with an Economic profile from the Mihail Sadoveanu High School in Borca is in practice with us, at the fair, and they are working hard! It is the children’s and young people’s fair, and they are our hardworking and enthusiastic elves!”, says a message published on the Facebook page of the Borca Christmas Fair.
